Sorry to see another topic locked out, it was the reason I logged on the site everyday, to read about the restoration of the "here to be unmentioned serial number Tucker". Otherwise the board is mostly dead with just repeat questions.
I guess I will have to check it out for anything new every month or so rather than every day, it was very entertaining and you were not subject to lawsuits for someone exercising the first amendment. First amendment, what was that again, the right of free speech?

CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF; OR ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, OR OF THE PRESS; OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE, AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.

First of all, there was no longer any discussion about the restoration; only the poor business practices of a certain person. I am not going to subject the club to any potential slander lawsuits by this person. It certainly is not constructive discussion for this site.

Second, in the midst of a supposed class action suit against this person, I do not see the value in ex-employees posting such messages as they may impede their case.

Third, guess what??? IT IS ILLEGAL. It is illegal to flame someone on the Internet if you do not use your own name. And because there is no way that TACA can verify real identities, I for one am going to protect the club's interests over some stupid petty worker grievances and delete postings that violate this law and put the club at risk. See link here -> http://news.com.com/Create+an+e-annoyance,+go+to+jail/2010-1028_3-6022491.html?part=rss&tag=6022491&subj=news

Finally, I'm not new to the Internet. I've been on tons of car Message Boards and quite frankly, I am sick of Internet egos and people hiding behind the veil of the Internet to cause problems and arguments. In other words, I'd rather have a boring Message Board than one that creates a hostile environment, which makes the club look bad and hinders membership growth.

I am sorry if this makes the board less enjoyable for you.

It was interesting to read

But I am glad you took it down. It's one of the reasons I never started a message board years ago with my college. It requires too much monitoring. You did the right thing.
